Better choices in Barrhead than this, like your own car or a bench. Outdated, not the cleanest. Staff wasn't the friendliest. We reserved 2 rooms room a month before only to find out 1 room was no longer available when we got there because the person before us didnt check out and there was no other rooms available, basically told too bad sorry here is a complimentary breakfast. The room we did have was falling apart, bathtub had mildew on the gobs of caulking and the bathroom ceiling had holes and paint falling off. Far from a quiet hotel either, just one big party place. If you stay here, well good luck.
Dated rooms have their own charm. Food was excellent at the pub.
Clean, quiet, comfortable hotel. Stayed here for work and was impressed with the amenities. Cafe breakfast in the morning is great and complementary with my room. There's a pub that's got great food and service! Will be happy to be sent here again!
The staff is friendly the food was good but the hotel is run down and if your unfortunate to get a old room its a nightmare, dusty, bed covers torn, some kind of spots on the pillows, paint peeling off walls& ceiling, no elevator if you have more than a bag to carry, dark hallways and staircase. But in all fairness if you want to travel back to 1982 this is your place. Wish I could attach pictures.
Service was friendly and price was very good. Breakfast was excellent from the cafe. The rooms were adequate, but nothing special. Generally what you would expect given the price. The Wireless internet was very poor; was unable to work from my room as a result.
