I have NEVER in my life been treated with such disrespect. I wanted to take my 1 year old son for a SIT down lunch but prefer Tim Hortons coffee like the millions of other Canadians. So I brought my tims coffee and was ordering to sit down. The owner asked me if i would like my meal to go. I said no we'd like to stay that is why I came here... She then gave me a scalding about having a Tim Hortons coffee in her restaurant and I was not allowed to stay. She then asked me to pay for my meal. No thank you. Wanted to support a mom and pop shop for lunch but I will not be treated this way. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
Im so sad there isn't one of these places near where I live. Though the sandwich fillers (meats and cheeses) were somewhat slim, the service was excellent and the place was spotless. Do yourself a favor and get a homemade Oreo cookie!
Fantastic food and service. Everything is made from scratch in their kitchen - baked goods, sauces, soups, bread. You name it, they make it! Reid's is also a fantastic restaurant to order food for delivery for any company luncheon. I've never been disappointed.
Very little meat on sandwiches for a restaurant serving in a rural town. Two thin slices on mine. A boy gets hungry! They don't offer standard condiments for on the sandwiches. Cinnamon buns are okay.
Always a great place for lunch. Friendly counter service, whether eat in or take out. Always great choices, along with a daily special. Soups are especially good. Lines can be long at lunch time, so I'd suggest you wait a bit. But if you are restricted by a certain time and have to have lunch right at noon, service is usually fast and you will be on your way.
